Botox
Botox is injected with an ultra-fine needle into specific muscles that produce wrinkles and lines. This relaxes the muscles and the wrinkles are drastically reduced. Properly injected, Botox does not change facial expression. The effects last between 3 and 4 months. Bruising after Botox is not common but pin point bruising can happen especially if you tend to bruise easily.
Common areas to inject Botox:
Crow´s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, bunny scrunch lines, lip wrinkles, square jaw, downturning corners of the mouth, orange peel skin (peau d’orange)
Did you know that Botox is also used to treat migraines, muscle spasms and excessive sweating?

Botox for sweating
Botox has many other medical uses besides wrinkle-reduction. One of the most helpful is for controlling hyperhidrosis, a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. One treatment to both armpits every 7 to 9 months reduces sweating to a normal level. Small doses of Botox are injected into the underarm skin to temporarily block the nerves that stimulate sweating.
